Binary Poetry
Binary Poetry is Delta poetica’s first poetry project, transforming binary code—0 and 1, true and false—into poetic expressions that explore the transition between the digital and post-digital eras. As technologies like quantum computing, neural interfaces, and synthetic biology emerge, binary code may be viewed as an “ancient language,” symbolizing humanity’s foundational digital dialect.
Each work in Binary Poetry is conceived as a poem, taking shape through different media and forms—kinetic sculpture, performance, sound, installation, and beyond. Together these works enact the translation of binary logic into embodied, material, and sensory experience.
In Binary Poetry, Delta poetica reimagines binary as both a poetic and cultural bridge—a connection between the digital past, the uncertain post-digital present, and the speculative futures ahead. Through this project, binary code transcends its function as a mere technical language, becoming a vessel for philosophical inquiry, historical reflection, and social critique. By engaging with 0 and 1, Delta poetica approaches binary as a philosophical framework—one through which systems of logic are questioned, reformulated, and extended toward transformations in how we understand, divide, and structure meaning.
